I took the cheap plastic off one of the wrist pin cushions and added some elastic, it's more comfortable and I put it on every time I use the machine.
My 6" sewing gauge to measure.
I'm re-purposing my double pointed knitting needles to use as stilletos so I don't sew my fingers on the small pieces.
Can't live without my seam ripper.

How, pray tell, do you use fabric softener sheets when hand sewing???[/quote]
i know some people use these when they do applique but please be careful because some people are allergic to them and the fact that they have gone thru washing machine cycles does not remove the powerful chemicals

2 seam rippers...I always misplace one when I need it most. A pair of cheap scissors for cutting the threads between chain piecing. Omnigrid cutting mat and rotary cutter. New blade for rotary cutter (if needed I have it and I don't have to stop cutting). Coats and Clark Nugray thread. 12 x 1.5 inch omnigrid ruler. Quarter inch ruler. 12 inch square ruler. Long ruler (22x6?)for strips. 2.5 inch omnigrid ruler for 1.5 inch squares, etc...Pencil and notebook for notes, pieces cut, etc... Plastic bag or bins for cut pieces and block storage. Hand needles for any hand sewing needs.

Rotary cutter with the cutting mat & rulers. Love my June Taylor Shape Cutter, but wish I had gotten the larger size. I like my Accuquilt Go, too, but have not gotten to use it much as I only have 2 dies so far. The one it came with and the tumbler die.
