What would you combo this happy, multi colored floral fabric with?

I think I would go with a light yellow to possibly tone down the florals. It really depends on your pattern you are planning on making. Good luck and it looks like a lot of ideas on here. I also agree with everyone about auditioning it in a quilt shop to see what makes you happy.

I'm stumped!
This is by Sevenberry for Kaufman from the Petite Flowers collection. The design is called Flower Bunch and this is the red

As you can see it is zesty, bight, and happy. I'd love to use it for a quilt but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to combo it with...
White would work but seems uninspired (it also shows muddy pawprints). My next thought was a deep grey but then I felt that might look disconcertingly drab, even in a small dose.
Anyone want to weigh in with a suggestion? The fabric is so gorgeous and a really want to make something with it-- I'm just clueless!

The dark green would make the print pop (a dark, cool, grey against warm, light, high intensity). How much do you have? For what is the product intended?
I like the stripe idea, but I'd use white and dark green.

Friends I am so happy to read your replies!
I feel refreshed, energized, and enlightened-- a big shift in perspective!
Thank you all so much for taking the time to help me. I now have a million beautiful, exciting possibilities thanks to the creativity and insight of the board.
I'm still digesting all the info, but here's where I'm at right now...
Bjchad mentioned looking at the rest of the collection for coordinates, something I didn't consider before because I normally am not a matchy-matchy person. But of course I immediately went wild for another print from the collection,

The background is actually black. Again, it's by Sevenberry for Robert Kaufman, from the Petite Garden collection. It reminds me of one of my favorite Liberty of London prints (Wiltshire) and has a delightfully exuberant mood.
I've never made a real quilt before so, I thought a simple checkerboard might work, but then I saw this micro print from the same collection and wondered if a little sashing might be in order

It reads as yellow-cream from a distance and looks super adorable. It also much much smaller in scale than the other two prints (which are the same size)
I really like the idea of pattern, pattern, and pattern.... but maybe I am an odd ball
Going to let this turn around in my mind for a while, re-read the thread again, and consider.... any and all comments are welcome.
Thank you all again for your generous help <3

Another suggestion from something I read by a home designer (but works with quilts as well). If your main fabric is a large or medium floral, choose a different scale geometric, say a small stripe or plaid, try to vary the scale and feel of the fabric (floral, botanical, stripe/geometric, etc) as well as the color. May help you with fabric selection. Also depends a lot on the pattern you choose.

I'd look for a small orange and white gingham check... or yellow and white. NOT a solid. At the very least, a tonal. It may be hard to find an all cotton gingham check. Most of them are made with polyester. But I think it would look fabulous and fun.
