    "Multi-colored Monstrosity" completed

My daughter in law (who doesn't quilt) designed this quilt. I have worked for months on it and finally completed it. It will be a surprise at Christmas for her. Name: IMG_1483.JPG

What a fun and energetic design, yet probably a challenge to accomplish. Congratulations on a job well done, both the quilt and following through on your DIL's quilt design.

What an interesting and unique design. I am sure she will enjoy seeing her design turned into an actual quilt.

It's really interesting but must have been a real challenge to make. You must really love your DIL!

Fabulous quilt. Love the design and colors. Looks like it was a real bear to assemble with all those elongated hexis.

I agree it is unique and beauty is in the eye of the person that choose the fabrics. I made a quilt for my nephew and his wife and hated the fabrics she choose. But she loved it and that is all that matters. I was never so glad to ship off a quilt as I was that one so I understand completely. Hope she loves it!
