I would use something like this for a panel quilt, with borders, maybe using 1930's fabric. It's gorgeous! As someone said, 'don't rush', it will come to you! (I would hate to cut it up, too!)

Not knowing the width or length, my suggestion would be to make it 3 or 4 large blocks and add all those delightful, solid colors in the fabric. Maybe adding some type of trim to bring out the blocks. I'm not an expert, but I really love your fabric. You could photocopy the fabric and lay out a design. Just thinking outloud. I really want to see what comes of this one.

So many ideas. Like to see what you decide. Then again, keeping it because it is vintage is another thought

Wait don't cut it. Not long ago there was a message of someone who had found a woman on ebay selling vintage fabrics at outragous prices- contact her and tell her you'll make her a really reasonable deal on buying this

Maybe use it as a wide band in one of those wide band/strip quilts?

Use it as the center strip/band and coordinate for the rest of the pieces.
Would be my suggestion also.

I would make a picture log cabin quilt with it. cut one of the pictures and and add a two half in stips . use eight different colors that are in the picture or how ever big you make the pic. decied then how big your strips need to big. I make a lot of them that way and they always come neat.

Love your fabric. I too would wait and think about it for awhile. Before you know it, something will come to you.

do with it, but I love it!!
I'll be waiting to see what
you decide. I'm sure you'll
get a lot of good ideas on
here. Hugs, Sharon

I would put it into a hoop and hang it on the wall as ART! Love it.

I love that fabric! Could you do a wall hanging with it? A quilt for a little girl? It is adorable.
