Could you cut the fabric into some same size peices, and the sew them together length wise.
Use that as a center panel, and then build a border around it.

I agree with so many of the others. Sleep on it! Think about it and ponder carefully. I would suggest using it as the centerpiece like a medallion at the center with coordinating colors and fabrics framing it. It is difficult to fussy cut such a cute fabric and get the complete picture. Good luck!
