I agree with Rose L. If they were framed and put on a wall, it doesn't have to be washed. And I agree it should be heat set. I've done some home decorating in my time and I can just see them on a light yellow wall framed in dark brown to make them POP! I would not make a quilt out of them. Too many things to worry about.

framing is out in this house..my hubby said no more flowers on the walls...and my bedroom is done in an Asian theme!

This most likely get sold if none of the family want it, but it is something I want to get done this year to enter in the local fair.

Oh my gosh - these are exactly like my Grandmother painted in probably in the late 60's. Mother had it made into a quilt. I'll call her tomorrow and see if what she did. I don't think it had any sashing. Just blocks sewn together and it is beautiful.

What a find!

This was my first thought when I saw these wonderful blocks, but if you just can't make up your mind, just send them to me.

I would be tempted to use them for the center of a garden trellis type pattern.

Here is one type of trellis pattern but it might be too much for your flower blocks:

Or perhaps:

Or a simpler design:

Good luck with finding that "perfect pattern" for these lovely blocks.

I love the last one, but these blocks can't be done on point...

I agree Scissor Queen. Add sashing and maybe a nice floral border to set the flowers off.
