I prefer the green . I think it pops the purple and gives a calmer feel to the quilt. It is gorgeous and you did a fabulous job.

Beautiful! The only thing I would suggest for the corners would be to do the block that is in the center, simply a square. Love it no matter how you do it you can be very proud of it.

What about putting a simple square in a square like the very middle of your center block in each of the four corners? Just a thought - gorgeous quilt!

Just noticed what Hodge Podge said - nope, I didn't read it before I wrote this - honest!!

Absolutely beautiful quilt!

IMHO the size of the border you are indicating would overwhelm the beauty of the intricacy of the pieced interior. I would use the light purple, light blue, green and dark purple, but in much smaller widths.

Your quilt is beautiful. I would consider a corner square out of the light background fabric for the first border.
