What would you pay for these two binders?

People on Craigs list must think it is a place for top dollar. Little do they know, people are looking for bargins. I guess he did not want to sell the patterns, that is why they are priced soooo high. Besides the patterns usually have earier methods since they were first published. Oh well I'll pass on this one.

You can probably find all the same patterns on line --- FREE! The seller probably isn't a quilter and has no idea. Run like crazy. I have made three huge binders of free quilts and put fancy covers on them for my own use. I hope that when I die, no one in my family tries to sell them!

I have one and like it but I agree all patterns in it are available online. Also because of their age the information and techniques are very dated. All the patterns are templets from before rotary cutting. So there is a sheet with hard plastic that has strips printed on it for log cabin templates, double wedding ring, bears paw or thumbling blocks etc. All these patterns and many more you can find on http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html for free. I bought mine because there are a couple of quilt stencils in the back. Not the best made but I wanted them and the book is nice but not $150 a piece. I would probably sell mine if I could get $150.
