Shopping, making lunch for DH when he comes in from mowing our dead fields, nap, and in between all that work on my what seems to be interminable stained glass quilt. I am getting bored at this point but hope I will cheer up when I finish this grind part. Then, dinner and back to the quilt until bed time. No cleaning of house today. Tomorrow will be clean house day.

My husband and I are painting the outside of our house. That means scraping old paint, filling any cracks/holes, putting on two coats of primer and 2 coats of paint on the trim and 2 coats of paint on the stucco, even some restuccoing. Thank goodness our house is one story, but it is a lot of work.

I "got" to go to work today (love my job), then home to work in my yard. Also cleaned both our vans, swept both decks, and visited with some friends. Will work on a quilt binding tonight (three of us had a part in making it), and we're donating it to the local hospital for a raffle at their Fall Festival. I LOVE LIFE!!!

Well it's after 11pm so I guess I'll write what I did do today....Food shopping, banking, drove back home to wash breakfast dishes (I don't own a dishwasher), made the bed, cleaned the three litter boxes (I have 6 kitties), made chicken soup from scratch, made two chicken pot pies, wrapped gifts for my youngest dd's 22nd birthday which is tomorrow, pinned two gift quilts in prep for hand quilting, set up my new quilting frame, folded the whites and towels. Fed my dh, showered and now I'm just enjoying a few minutes online but need sleep. I hope to begin quilting tomorrow as these two quilts are gifts for October events.
