White Birches quilt from Quilter's World...Oct. 2010.

It is simple, artistic, contemporary, delightful with Robins and it is the hardest quilt that I have made. I am up to the borders so they are not hard.
I am not dyslectic but I had trouble with this block. I did the dozen and I am happy with it.

I hand-quilted all day after ripping out the the bunched up machine quilting on a king size quilt. It is therapeutic, just time consuming. My husband and I attended a block a month class class together, then combined all of the squares (22 total) into one king size quilt, sashing them together with a neutral tan and a solid wine colored border. We are loving our joint creation, even if it takes another year to complete! LOL. It is gray and cool outside, great day to cozy up infront of the fire and sew!

Today I started my first baby quilt. It is flannel and I am not sure if I should tie it or stitch in the ditch . It is 6 inch squares. I`m a rookie.I made 20 placemats yesterday. :-D

yea!! it's finished & in the dryer now.. ready to hang tomorrow...

only took out about 2" of fmq, which would be my personal best... of course this thing is only 25" square... but i only took out 2"!
i hope i attached the photos... i made this out of 9 purple fat quarters given to me by my oldest & best friend... hence the name "annie's gift #1" it hangs in my office over an extremely ugly red breaker box...

it is called "annie's gift #1", because i cut out double the pieces i needed for this, so i am making a table runner for my dining room as "annie's gift #2"
