What are you working on?
I can't seem to work on only one thing at a time. I have a blue quilt in the planning stages; I'm cutting out a Goose in the Pond; I'm sewing the blocks together on my Omigosh quilt; getting the appliquing done on the border of a blue and yellow top; and putting the binding on my granddaughter's t-shirt quilt before I remove it from the quilting frame. As soon as the t-shirt quilt is off the frame I have a 30's quilt that I want to load and get it quilted before Wednesday of this week. I'm in quilt heaven today just thinking of all these projects!!

Love your projects on the go. I too never work on just ONE project, I have many on the go in various stages of completion. If I had to work on just one, I would get bored with it very easily, but I do admire those quilters that can follow through on just working on one quilt at a time.'

And I thought I was nuts! I have about as many going- 3 in various stages of quilting that have been put aside for deadline projects. Just finished a wedding gift. Working on a baby quilt for Grand Nephew to be in Nov. Also a quilt for a friend's 6 yr. old's birthday. Last night, DH helped my choose fabrics for a fall and 2 Christmas table toppers and some of these fabric boxes that everyone is making in the last few weeks. Then back to 2 beach house quilts that I have until next spring to finish! Love it!

I'm usually a person that wants to work on one project at a time. I like to completely finish one thing and then move on to the next. But, this weekend I have a Christmas Bow Tucks purse all cut out & have the fusible fleece ironed on, and now it's just waiting to be sewn together to become a purse. Then I have cut all the pieces to an autumn table runner that has appliqué pumpkins, vines & leaves in the border. So, tomorrow I plan to finish the purse and to start piecing the runner. I'm in a festival Nov 8 & 9, and so, the next few weeks is the last mad dash to the finish line. Wish me luck!

I tend to work on only one quilt top at a time, then set it aside and start another. Right now, I have two tops finished and one almost ready to have the columns sewn together. After I get a few more tops done, I'll start sandwiching and quilting them. These are just simple twin-sized sofa quilts. I'm trying to finish a bunch for gifts, then will start working on something a bit more time-consuming. Even though these are super-simple ones, they'll be cozy and appreciated.

I am getting to be the same way, I am taking over the house with different stations for each project. I guess when I run out of stations I will be limited to that many projects going at one time. Luckily, I have a rather small home.

I have a quilt to sandwich and quilt on my DSM but if I had a long arm, I would be working on it. My other projects are all caught up and I refuse to start anything new until I get my sampler quilt quilted.

I did that goose in the pond. Beautiful pattern. The OMG amazes me. I have currently 2 tops I did at retreat to be backed. A mystery on the last clue. 2 others I am part way into. Trying to cross stitch some bread cloths for Xmas gifts. This is all that are on the table at the time. Let's not look into the boxes hiding other projects. I need a vacation so I have time to get these caught up. That is if I can avoid starting anther project. Those fabric boxes everyone have been posting look cute.

I LOVE that blue, yellow, white quilt!! Please let us see it when you've finished!! I, too, am not satisfied unless I have at least 3 quilts going at the same time. I get bored with working on just one till it's finished. I usually have one that I am piecing on the machine, one of the longarm, one that I'm doing the hand sewing on the binding at night, and possibly one that I can do hand applique at night. Since, I have to "baby" my back and my "standing" time, this gives me a good variety of something I can always be doing. Works for me!!
