Default Wild and Goosey

I love the Wild and Goosey blocks from Quiltmaker magazine. Can't remember the date, but they are paper-pieced, a great way to use different size scraps, and are very addicting (warning). These are by Bonnie Hunter.

I love all the above!! string blocks, I use old phone book pages but maybe the sanwitch wraps would work better..light muslin makes great backing for crazy log blocks, 4 patch..scrappy is so great!! I have been trying to strip piece and match colors.. it takes to long and I am not sure they come out as nice as just random pieces.. Sometimes I stack scraps that fit my go dies and cut 2.5 squares and triangles to make 2.5 triangles.. sew away and I really love how they turn out...tried to upload a picture and did not work!!

If you go to Pinterest and do a search for "scrap quilts" you'll pull up pages of great ideas you can look through.
