The only quilt design I do use repeatedly - precisely because it is quick and easy - is made up of offset rectangles. So you can make the quilt any length or width you wish. You can mix fabrics or use one colorway. And every quilt looks different. Plus it's a great way to practice quilting designs.

When my sister did a quick quilt, she did "Star Fling". I'm not sure , but I think it's an "Atkinson" pattern. She liked it , cuz you never have to worry about loosing the points on the stars. I love all the different ideas coming out.

I thought that the shadow quilts go together really fast. Much faster than I thought they would. You need some pretty fabric, though, for a feature fabric. I made these charity quilts, no problem in less than a day of sewing.
