My number 1 choice is Elvis Presley, followed by Billy Ray Cyrus or and songs from the 50's or 60's.
For TV, I love WWE Wrestling, Law & Order SVU or get out my DVD's of Elvis movies, I Love Lucy, 7th Heaven and varous other movies.
Cannot quilt or sew in quiet.

I always have music on, my sewing room wouldn't be complete without my stereo. Usually I listen to rock ranging from the 50s to 70s and 80s, lately I'm in a Sarah Brightman mood, I'm sure it drives hubby nuts! LOL

When I am doing free motion quilting, it's always AC/DC ... lol

Usually the TV is on - some program I don't care about so I don't really have to watch it. If I'm actually watching TV while sewing, I go nuts during the commercials. lol. When I listen to music it is XM Radio set to either Bluegrass Junction or The Roadhouse.

usually do an overload of mindless tv- HGTV home improvement shows or first time homebuyers. Or- I may switch and watch NCIS or classic movies (for whatever reason I watched Les Miserables- go figure).

Then again- I do get serenaded- hubby goes across the hall and plays his accordion. I love the Irish love songs.

I like the noise, but then again, I also like complete silence. Whatever....

Those are my favorite too....but I often put the TV on "Escape" channel, 820, and then I escape with music and sewing.

I like to listen to "A Prairie Home Companion" and " Car Talk" with Click and Clack on NPR. When I finish those I listen to some 70's rock or country. Sing it to me, Willie Nelson, John Conlee and Conway Twitty.

I listen to my CDs of Quilting Singer, Kathy Miller. She is based in Victoria, BC, Canada. Google her name for her website. All her CDs can be found there. Excellent!! Great songs about quilting past and present. Some uplifting, some sad and some hilarious. That's what I listen to when I am quilting :)

I usually listen to country. I sure wish there was an all quilting/sewing channel to listen to. Look how many hunting, fishing, and sports channels there are and only an occational quilting program on :?
