Very interesting to read the comments pertaining to peoples least favourite parts. I was not sure I had a "least favourite" initially until I thought about it that is and now would say the initial cutting is my lesast favourite, why? because my eyesight isn't so good and I always end up cutting something out off the mark. Have more than once cut out a whole pile of something to discover when I sew the block up it is wrong and when I go to square it the darn thing is off becuase of it.

Connie I recently bought a Westerlee ruler, actually a large 30" one for longer cuts (width cuts) and also one of the smaller triangle rulers for now. So far I am loving the long ruler as they can be set at the cut I want (say I want 2 1/2" strips) and once set all I have to do is butt the fabric up to the guide and cut again, no remeasuring. At least my strips are now the right widths but still sometimes get the alternate cuts off a little.

My least favorite part is when the pieces don't line up right. I like the rest of the whole process. My favorite part is done!

My least favorite is making the binding, I hate the measureing and sewing of those skinny pieces.
