I am from Omaha, NE and I need to visit Quilted Moose. A new quilt shop opened "More Sew For You". It is at Countryside Village off of Pacific, across from Westside High School.

Quilts with Attitude by Deb Karasik. Took a class from her in April. She's awesome. I can now paper piece.

Two weeks ago I purchased "Liberated Quiltmaking II" by Gwen Marston.....fantastic book!! I've made quilts from so many purchased patterns and books and now it's time for me to get out of my comfort zone and come up with my own design. This book fits this need. I will post a picture with whatever I come up with. This is a great topic.

Yesterday I purchased a landscape quilt book for beginners at one of our local quilt stores.....it was half price. Now I have to find a shop or someone to help teach me how to do them. I think the book will help a lot. However, I do much better with the visual hands on approach.

Kaffe Fassett's "Passionate Quilting". I've been away from quilting publications for years and his work was new to me. I love his manipulation of patterned fabrics such as the shirting stripes.
