Well, besides costumes, I think I'd have to say it was three flannel stuffed baby blocks, with appliqued BOY on them. They turned out so cute and didn't take all that long to do, for a baby shower...matched the baby quilt. The mother loved them, as does baby.

I've make a gun carrying case, a stuffed boy doll for my son when he was little, a blind baby quilt (different fabrics sewn together - my D1 machine was not crazy about that), and doggie beds (unusual for me - guild project).

I just made a cover for my wicker hamper. It was expensive to begin with but it was getting old and the wicker was starting to look ratty. The vinyl top was ripped a little here and there. So I made a batting lined sleeve for the hamper and added a new cover for the top using a staple gun. Looks better than new and I spent about $12 total. I'm happy.

That is a great idea!! do you have a pattern for it or did you just kinda make it as you went? I would be interested in it if you have a pattern or some drawings or designs.
