I couldn't have said it better. This December of making no quilty gifts has been an eye opener & I don't plan to get caught up in the rush rush ever again.

I'm really really looking forward to it! After christmas, I will re-organize my quilting corner and work on diminishing my scraps via string quilting. Then! Who Knows what Glorious creations await! I'm excited!

My first project is to get my studio clean and re-organized. Then I have two baby quilts "owed" to a couple of friends. After that I want to make a king-sized pieced duvet cover; no quilting, though, at least not yet. I may someday quilt it so it's a quilt by itself, but I'm not wanting to take that on right now.
I have several other projects in mind, but these three are next in line.

I am going to make a green, black & white quilt for my granddaughter's birthday which is in May - Starting in Jan. should give me enough time. Not sure which pattern I will use though, have a few picked out that I think would look good in those colors.

New quilt for our kitchen- there is a new line of fabric coming in Feb from Northcott that will be perfect. No idea of what pattern I will be using...

OBW- can't wait to try this!
Work on paper piecing skills- finally got the basics down and love the precision- that may be a good combo with the kitchen wall hanging
A quilted jacket
A few UFOs but not really too much, just odds and ends.
