I don't have a quilt on my king bed. I have a matlesse (?) bedspread. I've thought about making a quilt for our bed but just can't get myself to buy that much material and commit to stick with a completion. I like to make smaller project that actually get done :) I have a short attention span...LOL.

A mixture :P DH and I use separate blankets (we found early on in marriage we sleep muuuuch better that way!) so he uses one that I made him in college. They used most of the "easy to wash" bedding which includes my normal blanket so I am using our couch throw which is also made by me. Usually I have just a store bought thermal type blanket thing.

Right now it is my bargello quilt. As it gets colder I will add the Double Irish Chain. I love sleeping under my quilts. All my kids and DGD have quilts I have made too.

I have a quilt I made long ago. Is queen size and my bed is king, so it comes a little short, but the only king size I want to make is a plaid flannel rag quilt and I am collecting fabrics for that. Is feeling like fall in NY, so this is the one that I found the last time I went to my storage.

My quilt is not very heavy at all-perfect with a sheet (and the AC) during the summer and over a down comforter in the fall/winter. I have worn this thing OUT. Obviously, I don't change bedding seasonally!

I have 2 of my own quilts on every bed in my house. Now I'm working on filling up the linen closet with a few more to change out now and then as the mood strikes me.
