OMG, you don't want to see it - one of the first quilts DH and I made over 30 years ago - Tumbling Blocks, in dressmaking scraps - I didn't know any better, used lining material, Indian print bedspread fabric (remember those?), anything. Half the pieces have been replaced by now as they wore out, it ends up on the floor a lot but I still love it. Even has pieces of my high school prom dress in it!!

Right now on top is a crocheted one I started when my baby was small, (he's now 42) started it as a lap robe. I kept on going and now it's a king sized one that touches the ground all around 3 sides of my now queen sized bed. Under it is an old one from an old friend, a lofty, hand quilted queen sized one with a soft pattern that has been bleached to pale colors but is still whole and warm.

I am working now and then on a crazy quilt with all kinds and shades/tones of blue for it, also to touch the floor all 3 sides around and flip over pillows. With this style, I can make a square of whatever amount I can get to make it, put it away and make more later when I run into some more blue.

My first quilt - a simple big block and railfence King size that I handquilted with a simple X across each square.

It's not as beautiful as many seen here but it's all me!

That and a cat or two =^..^=
