Default What's your favorite all cotton piecing thread?

I only like to piece with all cotton thread. I just bought some Guttermann cotton thread at half price at JoAnn's (the thread sale ends today, buy three, get three free), but even at half off I think it's expensive: $2.50 for a 274 yard spool. The other cotton threads they had were 30 weight, which I consider too thick for piecing. I think what I bought is 40 or 50 weight because it is visibly thinner than those, but the spools are unmarked.
So, what's your favorite all cotton piecing thread? (I was looking at Connecting Threads...maybe for future reference?)

I prefer 50 weight thread for piecing. I have used all brands you can name. I buy a lot of my thread from Superior and like to buy the cones in neutral colors-white, gray and taupe. They are more economical. Thread is important to the success of making a quilt.

I love the Guterman 50 wt., but only buy it in the 3,200 yard cones which is lots cheaper than the small spools.

Aurifil. Less lint, and it's thin but strong, so I can fit more on a bobbin and wind them less often.

I use only Aurifil and love it. It is very expensive so when the LQS has it on sale I usually buy several and only in neutral colors and it lasts me for a long time.

Another Aurifil user. There are others but it's my favorite. Also like 50 w.
