I named my Featherweight Tinkerbell but haven't thought about the other ones, although my Mega Quilter's name is mud right now. Darn thing is broken and has to go to the shop tomorrow. I will have to think about names.

My Nolting FunQuilter, purchased 2 mths ago is Lydia, because she is purple.
My high end Pfaff, purchased almost three years ago,...no name...strange, but nothing seems to fit! :(

My embroidery machine is Judy's. I inherited her from my late MIL Judy.
My "new" singer is a 1954 Singer 66. Her name is Raquel after my mom's sister. If I would have had a daughter, her name would have been Raquel. She's my favorite Auntie. I now have my mom's FW and so her name is "Momma's". Someday, I'll have a Singer 15-90 and her name will be Neida, one of my mom's other sisters.
My everyday piecing machine is a Janome named Naomi who, coincidently, was the name of my mom's other sister. All the girls are covered! My aunt Naomi died the same year as my mom.
I think is Mom would have lived to see me quilt and use her machine, she would have been happy that they had her sisters names.

I do not name my machines although I call my Brother the "little brother" to the big Esante. I do name my quilts though and have some interesting names like "pepto bismol," "fall garden folly," "seahorse," "Amish nightmare," and my favorite "Merry Friggin' Christmas."
All of my quilts have names because as I make them, my life insists on continuing to roll along.
