I enjoy making "Quilts For Kids" quilts and got to wondering how many kits others have done so far this year. I think I've sent them something in the neighborhood of 40 so far, that's including some of my own in addition to their kits

I request 6 kits at a time and generally get the six tops finished in as many days. While working on them I have time to ponder on just what new project I want to work on next and generally find myself starting that next project at the same time.

How about you?

I only did two for that particular charity. I like to give to different causes.

I have done 4 and quilted only a couple of more. I love doing them. After the first of the year I plan to do some more.

Similar. They send you the kits you request that include fabric for the quilt top and backing along with instructions.

You then have 4 - 6 weeks to complete and return it, including one of your own creation if able.

Go to their web site for more info and pictures of donated quilts...good cause as are all such endevors.

Here's their website: http://www.quiltsforkids.org/

I've made two for them, and two for our local chapter. I will be making more in the future.

40! That's fantastic! I wish I had that kind of time. Thank you so much for making so many!

I would love to order the kit. Is there anybody here that would do the quilting for me. I'd love to do it all, but I can't quilt yet.
