If it is the fabric choices that you are not liking, try dyeing the whole quilt once it is finished. It will turn it monochromatic and you just may end up liking it again :D I have seen this done and it turned out wonderful. You just pick a color and go for it... Let the dye sit longer than usual in the washer and add some Retayne to the rinse water... The few dollars spent may end up being well worth it :wink:

If this doesn't appeal to you, you can always post a picture and send it to one of our Long Armer's on the board to use for practice

I agree with this. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it can't be usefull.

I think we all have had that experience, I know I have. In fact, I have one not quite finished and I can't make myself get back to it...but I will. And I will donate it to charity, there are people out there in dire need and even people who will think it is beautiful. I wouldn't spend money quilting it though, tying it is a good alternative. Onward and upward to the next quilting experience! Michelle

I have never seen an ugly quilt, some I don't care for colors but, all a pretty nonetheless. I'm sure it doesn't look that bad.
