I don't think I moved it. My autistic DGS(10) is here and he moves things out of his way alot. I usually keep it on the sewing machine or I can see it close by. It wasn't close by!! So I think he moved it. But he didn't put it back because he wasn't over here at my sewing machine when it showed up! He likes to get into my supplies for pencils and stuff and he is a guy! Anything in his way gets shoved out of the way!

I lost my best Singer sewing shears when I was 22. Thirty five years later, I found them when I started to re-upholster my aunt's old Cogswell Rocker. They were wedged inside a spring in the chair, completely hidden and had stayed there not budging even when the chair had moved three times! Igot them sharpened and they are cutting as well as ever.

I usually put things in safe places, too...safe from me that is!!! LOL

My Granny used to tell me all the time...if it had been a snake, it would have bitten you. I know my problem isn't due to age because I've always been this way.

Glad it came out of hiding for you...and that it didn't "bite" you!

That has happened to me and also my mom so many times with different things. We decided (indepentantly of each other)that my late brother and father are there making us think we're crazy while they are getting a good laugh!
