When you use white background what kind of material do you use?

depends on the project---i've used plenty of muslin- i love Kona Snow-
i like white on whites-
when i need a white i go shopping- touch them- look at them-- and choose the one i want for that project- varies day to day- project to project

the way to know which is the right side of WOW is when you are sitting down at the machine and using pieces of WOW, put the WOW piece on top of your thigh and you will easily be able to tell. The right side really shows up and the wrong side is dull. Has something to do with getting it out of the light.

My first preference is white on white and I like to mix all different patterns. I have been gifted with a ton of white cotton broadcloth, so guess what will be the background of my scraps quilts for quite some time? My supply may even outlast me!
