When you wants something but can't get it....

I saw a Koala cabinet for $50 on our Craigs list http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/chl/hsh/3949628785.html

BUT the phone number is out of service. And clicking on "notify Craigs list and we will email the seller" yesterday didn't help.

I would sooo love to have a cabinet for my machine/ supplies. Oh well- I'll keep looking/ dreaming!

What has been frustrating you lately that you want but can't get??

Interesting. I Googled the phone number and it comes back to a yacht store or dealer or whatever. Emerald Yacht & Ship, 900 W Marion Ave. Wonder if a guy named Joe works there...

Well- I never thought of that. You're a super detective!! It looks like that building was just auctioned off in April, but the number I have is out of service... The area code is actually 941 in that area (the town next to mine).

The lister doesn't have an email link, but I did hit the other link where Craigs list will contact them via email to clarify contact info... We shall see.

Unless it's some kind of joke or scam, it's surely a mistake, because clearly he can't expect to sell something without giving prospective buyers a way to contact him. Good luck, but be wary.

I tried to sell one for $75. No one wanted to pay for it , they wanted it free. I cut it up and threw it out.

I want decent sweatshirt fabric, and good ribbing. Can't find it except online.

Try doing an image search on Google and see if they have an ad up somewhere else. Maybe they did a typo on their info.

I answered an ad re a machine --no reply. Kept checking my email as I emailed them. Nothing . Hubby says probably sold but don't want to write. Ok. so the next week the ad is in but asking lower price --went thru this
3 times. It's a 3 hour drive but I was willing even at the first price. I would go to their door but the problem is I needed the address so I would have been there within hours of reading the ad. Haven't had time to check last few days. I still will buy it.

I am leery of some of the people on Craig's List, be very careful and read the warnings that Craig's List offers. Some things are better not having.

How funny! (strange), I also found a nice one on Craigslist and called, and called, 5 weeks later the guy called back and asked if I still wanted it!!! Some folks just don't get in a hurry!

I have nothing close to good to say about Craig's list. I think the only you can do is loose $50 .
