Great story....and so glad it turned out ok.
Dogs are such funny people. One of our Golden Retrievers was a pack rat. DH lost his cell phone one fall while working on the tractor in the driveway. We didn't find it until the next spring when we took the dog's kennel out of the garage and dumped his winter collection of treasures. Yup, there was the cell phone....with a few more teeth marks than the last time we had seen it. LOL
