    Trying to imagine how the iron got that close to the girls. Are we suppose to be doing this in the nude???........

    Must be where I was making my quilting mistakes. Okay I will try it this afternoon and hope i am finished before company comes.........LOL

    Just so you all know rewashing didn't change anything and the color catchers were a pretty red too.

    Oh, some art quilters use those, just a word to the wise. I do art quilts, but NOT the fabric catcher type.

    Well, speaking of stupid, I had snagged a pretty piece of fabric from my DMIL's stash and decided that I should do a burn test on it to make sure that it was cotton and not a polyester blend. Unfortunately I forgot to drop the scrap of fabric that I was testing into the kitchen sink and ended up with a second-degree one-inch burn on my forearm. And of course this was made even worse by the fact that there was definitely poly in the fabric and I can't use it in the quilt I was planning.
