I wash everything with a cup of white vinegar. No problem no matter how cheap the fabric. I also use vinegar in every regular wash load I do.

Been there done that! What I do is fill my washing machine with warm(not hot as it will set the die), then add several scoops of oxyclean and soak it for a few hours then add laundry soap and wash it. Some times you will have to repeat it again.

vinagar is great for washing and keeping colors bright but vinagar will set the die and it won't wash out.

I love black and pink together but have you tried a laundry fabric magnet. Right at the moment the name eludes me but do try washing again.

I'm fighting with the binding on my quilt. I sewed it on the front and am using a decorative stitch from the front to sew the binding down in the back. There are about a zilion pins in this thing. Somehow, as I'm carrying this thing to the sewing machine my feet get all tangled up in the quilt and I end up on the floor with about 6 pins in my butt and the back of my legs. Yikes!
Sorry, but I can't help giggling at this image!!! Hope nobody saw it happen or you will never live it down! I promise I won't tell!

I have decided to keep it black an pink. Those 2 colors go very well together.

Somebody once told me that you have to have boobies to get the booby prize! Guess that's one prize I won't win!

Try adding about two cups of white vinegar to a machine rinse cycle...this has worked for me in the past!
