Congratulations on your new find! I know what you mean. The last time the NEED to purchase a large amount hit, I bought an entire bolt, 16 yards! It was and is delicious! I've used it for a few backs and bits and pieces in tops. I absolutely LOVE that fabric. DH even convinced me to buy it! I told him 'We have to leave now!' When in the car he was curious as to why. I told him that if I stayed any longer, that I would have to purchase that whole bolt. He said I should have and we must go back. I opted to wait a few days and use that as my purchase during the shop hop! Boy was that fun when my son and I went right up to the counter with bolt in hand. The cashier stated that we had to make the stop at the cutters table first and my then, 9 year old son stated 'No we don't. We're buying the whole thing.' Best look ever on the cashier's face!

You did great! Thanks for sharing your story! I'm heading to Indiana in October to spend our 20th anniversary with some wonderful family that we never get to see because we live 9 hrs away. It's in Shipshewana....Amish country. There will be some very fun fabric stores. My husband already knows we will be visiting them and I think he knows that I won't leave with only one fabric! Glad you could hold yourself back. . I completely understand the addiction.

IMHO if that fabric came right to you, it would have been rude to ignore it. The proper thing to do is what you did, give it a good home. I don't eat pickles (LOVE the smell, don't like the taste, very strange) but I'm sure yours will taste very good. Just don't eat any near that fabric!
