Michele,
Your quilt is beautiful.

Just got back from a 5 day trip to see family. Now to do some sewing. Need to get ready for my class with Harriet Hargrave. I can hardly wait. It is for FMQ with a home sewing machine. Hopefully after the class I can really whip out the WIP's & UFO's.

Don't have to go back to Denver until the 25th. Mom won't get out of rehab until then. She had knee replacement surgery at the age of 86.
Now I have time to practice all the things I learned in the Harriet Hargrave class. It was a 2 day class and I am in information overload. There was so much to absorb in 2 days. I now feel more confident to try some new things in the way of quilting the quilt. All of us in the class, with persistent practice, should be fairly proficient in 6 months. (It takes that long for our brains to learn a new skill.)
I now know why I was having trouble with quilting some of my quilts. I now have ideas of how to make my quilts better in the end. So now I am going to be practicing on all my smaller projects. Then on to the bigger ones.

wow Michele, love your obw! Great job! Well I see everyone is forging ahead with their projects. Hurray for you all! I'm so overworked it isn't even funny....but I FINALLY got three days off in a row, which means actually from 1 job, and they other I've got to work a bit on Tuesday. So that's 2 full days to sew/quilt! I'm thrilled.

If anyone else is 'off' for the weekend, let's do a holiday weekend retreat and concentrate on our UFO's, WIP's, etc... I plan to start on Sunday afternoon. I'll be in church in the morning....and the ushers will probably hand me a 'vistor card' Lol!

Let's use our time wisely and have some fun.

Missing everyone, and so glad I've got some time off at last!

Blessings,
MaryAnna
