    That is definately a big, fat, NO! I love, love, love fabric but for every piece I have to have, there are 10 others on the shelf just as nice.

    I've paid a lot more than that for interior design fabrics. Furnishings, draperies, pillows, fabric wallpaper, etc. Gets pricey.

    It's definitely not everyday quilting prices. It's fine for "green" and art projects.

    Doing the math... I've paid about $500 for a queen size in the past and that's about as high as I'll go in fabric shopping for quilting.
