Several shops in WV, just did a special fabric for a shop hop. It's regional, but sure din't cost anything like that. They also did a batik in conjunction with shops in OH and KY. It was gorgeous, themed to those 3 states and cost nothing like that either!

Come on, we're talking about the Northern Berkshires, land of the nutjobs, East. They must have a lot more disposable income up "in them thar hills". LOL.

Personally, it isn't the most attractive fabric, but maybe would look good with a pair of Berkenstocks.

Maybe....and a very big maybe if I saw a piece that would be used as art-stretched on a canvas and put on the wall. I would never buy a piece to cut or sew with at that price.

I understand wedding scenes and babies at different ages, sure. That's cool custom one-of-a-kind stuff. But the article is saying it's just grass and woodland stuff. Yeah, native to the area, cool. But $60/yd? Ha.
