Sometimes happy things result from "accidents". Congratulations -- you just created a new quilt layout. Be proud of it -- it's an original (and I like it, too.) Don't re-do it. If you did, you might find you liked this layout better.

I like it the way it is. It looks modern and no one would know that it is not what you intended if you don't tell them.

I agree with everyone else. I sometimes fret over a mistake, then I realize that unless the person who recieves it has the pattern, they won't realize it's a mistake! That's the way I deal with my "perfectionist tendency".

I say, quilt it and send it to charity...if anyone says anything, it was your special interpretation of the pattern.

Just keep it like it is and quilt it. Someone will enjoy it, and remember, you won't be the one looking at it for years to come, and if it keeps someone warm, that is all that matters.

It may not match your pattern, but it is beautiful. I think it was serendipity :-).

I know you said it is wrong but I honestly don't see what is wrong. Can you just call it a design variation and continue on? It's pretty.

I can't see what is wrong with it either. I would just quilt it and let it go. Who ever gets it will love it.

You don't say how you wanted it originally, but to me it worked out fine, Med & white halves with light contrast in middle, what is wrong with that ? Looks good to me, I would go ahead and quilt it, but then again, I am not the quilt police. Enjoy it.

Don't obsess over it! Quilt and give it; it's fine as it is.
