Are You cutting back your Quilt Mags & Paid Onlines?
#91
i do not subscribe to any magazines but I do check them out at the newsagents and it there is more than 2 thing I would like to do I buy it. I also get them from my quilt group as others are giving away their older ones too. I have 2 big plastic bins full and will have to go through them and hand them onto newer quilters.

Once my subscriptions expire I will not be renewing them. I currently have American Patchwork & Quilting and Quilters World. One magazine that I always enjoy is Quilts & More - but I don't have a subscription to it so I will probably just get it as it is available. There are so many wonderful free patterns on the internet I can't see ever needing a mag subscription.

Started quilting by taping episodes of "Simply Quilts" Now have 20 tapes (8 hrs each). Never did the mag subscription thing - too much advertising useless inserts and too few quilts that I actually liked enough to pay for. Plenty of free info online and On this board. Why pay for paper when I can invest that money on fabric and batting.
