I'm sorry that you have had a bad day trying to sew! Some days are just not suited for sewing! The trick is knowing what day that might be before you start to sew!

WHen you are making a DP9 patch and sew almost every square together sideways. Then you rip them and re- sew them the wrong way again. Time for a glass of wine, some dark chocolate and then bed.

...When you end up having to cut more pieces because you suddenly don't have enough to finish piecing the block you're working on - only to get it constructed and see you 'accidentally' reversed all the colors ... lol. Turn out the lights, the party's over! Came back the next morning and ripped and fixed

I think I've done most of these too! I remember piecing rows of a quilt together and couldn't find 1 row! I looked and looked and couldn't find it. Luckily I had enough fabric to make 1 more row but knew I didn't like it as much as the original but what could I do? I put the top together with the new row still thinking I liked the orig better but I have to live with the adjustment. I turned around in my chair and guess what was hanging right behind me? The original row! I swear there are quilting gremlins that just like to mess with us!
