Every year I go off with some quilting friends to St.George Utah and we stay in a condo and sew to our hearts content! It's the best time I have and usually come home with a finished project! We sew non stop except to go to Tuacahn which is an outdoor musical theatre that puts on outstanding entertainment. If you haven't been to Utah you might want to try coming to see the shows!

I took both my featherweight and a hand stitching project with me to Colorado. Have the featherweight already in the truck for the trip to Pittsburgh area. Didn't take it with me last year and had major sewing withdrawal before getting home. Also taking crocheting projects as well.

When you are riding your pony through the woods and you're asking him what he thinks of your latest ideas and gifts you plan for people... strangely enough he never offers input so they must be good ideas!

This made me laugh - San Diego has been having record heat temperatures this week, I have been seriously considering an air conditioner for my sewing room. There are fans in the room, but it blows the thread and fabric around, an air conditioner wouldn't do that. My family just shakes their head at the idea, but it makes sense doesn't it?
