My husband loves to go to quilt shops with me! He says they are the nicest people in the world. I guess we really are! If I need a spool of thread, he will say, "Do you want me to drive you up (my favorite one is about 15 miles away) there". I tell him he has a crush on the owner. She always asks if he wants something to drink!

Thank you, hpylady. I feel the same way. I love the people I have met here and making friends with some who write to me. It is especially nice, since I can no longer drive, and I feel good having this new circle of friends with whom I can share. I am surrounded by love, have a great (wonderful, loving) husband, and now this group. I, too, am willing to listen if anyone needs to talk just PM me and leave your email address. God Bless each and all of you kind friends. :)

I like that part about having friends in your home and not have to cook and clean.

Thank you for your kind words. This is a great board, everyone is so helpful. We all have our problems from time to time. I lost my dear husband three months ago. I miss so much. It takes a long time to go through the grief and heal. This family of quiltes are wonderful. I also thank each of you.

Thank you, everybody for saying you care!
I am one who needs those words now, because times are scary for me. I live alone and on SS and am worried about what will I do, if SS doesn't come. I live on less than one K a month, and just squeak by anyway!
I have a pretty good stash, so I can keep on quilting.
