That is where I am a lot of the time too. But I enjoy the entire process of quilt making. I mostly quilt for my own pleasure. I'm not great at every step but I do like them all

I do both, but since I have a good number of ufo's, then I piece more than quilt. But now am on a medical leave of sewing, etc.
Happy stitching everyone!

I love piecing! I'm still trying to learn FMQ, so maybe one day I'll get the hang?

Oh, I like piecing, but getting to the quilting part excites me for a couple of reasons. I feel I'm getting closer to the end, and if I'm giving to someone, the thrill of seeing them smile, makes me smile, and I like picking out the design I will put on it.

I enjoy the whole process. It was a fascination with hand quilting that got me started quilting. I love hand quilting the most, and hand piecing after that, but I also use machines for both piecing and quilting because I want to finish more quilts than I could do by hand. I'd call myself a quilter.

I am definitely a Piecer!! I only do straight line quilting with a walking foot, and send large or special quilts to a long armer.

I'm both. I usually have a picture in my head of how I want the quilt to look finished and I have to do it myself because I can't explain it to someone else. If they could just read my mind....

I think there is only one name for us and that is a quilter. We may enjoy the process of designing a quilt, piecing a quilt, quilting a quilt or doing the binding. A cook is a cook and we are all quilters.

I love cutting and piecing but am struggling a bit more with the quilting but I think that's the part that takes practice.

I guess I would have to say I'm a piecer & binder. I love doing both. I like quilting also but always struggle with just how to quilt the quilt.
