Weezy Rider, thank you very much for the photos and information. Now I need to measure my setup and decide how to place everything. Thanks again.

Everyone has such great ideas. I went to the store to pick up an online order and bought my self a pair of little gold hoop earrings. I wear them all the time and don't change for weeks on end. So just a little thing to keep the holes open.

So glad he is recovered and thankful it wasn't worse. Things like this help us keep our perspective, don't they?

Arranged for an iphone 5 --first apple product for us --then put our land line on AT&T but have to make some changes every time I go back to Canada. Will then convert to Canadian usage for the summer.

Told a friend I will buy her old Bernina but she won't have it here for few weeks. Hope this goes OK.

I love the look of sashiko and have wanted to learn how to do it for a while, so yesterday I ordered a sampler kit and told hubby that it was my Christmas gift to me!

I'm really looking forward to getting it. I haven't done a lot of handwork, but I hope that I enjoy it enough to make me want to tackle big stitch hand quilting a quilt.

I just had to comment about the hoop earrings because this was what I asked Santa for this year also. I'm celebrating my ears this year as I got a 3rd hole pierced for my birthday a couple of months ago. At my age I almost have to laugh at the thought. but I never liked how far away the 2nd hole was away from the first so I added one in between. Now I have a small pair of hoops to go with the look of the earrings in the other holes too. Silly but fun. So congrats to you quiltaddict! Enjoy and I'll enjoy along with you.

My gift to myself actually came from my sister who has recently sold her sewing machine to return to crocheting. I got a large crate packed full of of notions, patterns, accessories etc with another even larger crate of fabrics to follow. After inheriting all of this I think the only gift I can give myself is time to use them. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope 2016 brings you all everything you could wish for x
