Nothing is perfect
no two leaves on a tree are the same-
we strive to do our best, with the best materials we can afford and the best workmanship we can achieve. That’s as perfect as it gets.
generally only anoth quilter notices a mistake.

I have sold some of my quilts. Everyone knows up front that nobody is perfect. Expect a few mistakes. However if it’s really noticeable I will try to fix it. Otherwise where the ball bounces I go

Some of us prefer the quilts not perfect. It has a homey feel and look. If it sells it obviously doesn't matter. Just try. The only thing that would bother me if it is not made well or has cheap fabric (as in bad fabric).

My quilts are far from perfect, but they are charming! I agree with Prism about hand made quilts needing to have that human quality. I do sell some quilts on occasion... but they are not perfect. The people who buy quilts usually don't see our imperfections, they just see a cozy quilt and fall in love with it. I don't think you need to go for perfection in your quilts, just make the best quilts you can.

Non-quilting people who buy quilts especially handmade ones do not see the imperfections. They see the colors, the design, the overall "feel" of the quilt and decide it is just what they want. Basically because they are not quilters. Only quilters know what is an "imperfection" in a quilt. And even we are willing to buy a quilt with all its imperfections if it is what we want. Everyone else simply sees the beauty, the uniqueness of that particular quilt.
I "worked" at a display of quilts our guild set up at the county fair. Hundreds of people walked by the display admiring the quilts.
Not one person walked up to a quilt and said that quilt isn't perfect. Of all the things I have done with the guild, sitting at that display and answering questions from the people of all ages ranks as one of the highlights of my quilting life.

Perfect???? Are you nuts, no one or quilt is perfect.............at least mine aren't but then that means there's not another one like it in all the world so that makes them all unique. Think of it that way. I do............
