Just tell me this, please. Would they all have the "feel" of civil war period fabrics? I guess I am not a purist at this point, so I dont think it will matter, but I am curious now. TIA!
Me neither... I cannot tell the difference between Reproductions or Civil War inspired so to make this easier and ALOT less stressful any repro or inspired fabric line will be accepted in this swap..

Please - I'm still learning.

Heres what I found in my research..

Spice Chest

Bentarex - Documentaries reproduction fabric

BlueHill Fabrics-
The Empire collection by Rose Studios

Marcus Brothers-
Civil War legacy by Judy Rothermel
Civil War tribute by Judy Rothermel
Civil War Chronicles by?
Nineteenth Century by ?
Aurelias Journey- Civil War Classics

MODA-
Civil War Homefront by Barbara Brackman

RJR-

Wyndham Fabrics-

Civil War I thru VIII
Lincoln Bicentennial by Nancy Gere

Im sure there are more but these are the ones I found..

I called Fons & porter and asked a silly question.. I get a Civil War fabric medley every month and I asked- point blank- are the fabrics in my medley ALL civil war reproductions.. She was a bit confused but said yes.. She prob thought I was dumber than a doornail asking such a silly question.. so here's two more that are supposed CW that are in my Medley stash, but I'm kinda questioning.. But then again I am no expert by no means..

I went thru Whittle's Fabric online. I made sure this was what I was getting. MUCH prettier in person than here, sorry but it was taken with camera phone.

Not that expensive and they have a good sellection! This one is supposed to be green and burgandy.
