Do you know how hard and SUPER TEMPTING it is to not open these packages that arrive daily ?!?!?!??.. I have more fear of mixing the baggies than curiosity though.. So they are in milk crates and all over my chair in the formal dining room..No one goes in there so they are safe from lil fingers.. LOL..

Well, to be honest I have another Idea for a swap.. I haven't finished this one and I'm already thinking up another one..

Instead of charms I was thinking Layer cakes - 10 inch squares.. I figured we could get 12 squares per yard and we could get in groups of 12.. and every month the color/theme changes.. would be almost like this swap but instead ONE set would be 12ct -10inch charms..

    Whatcha think????

(BTW- nothing came in today's mail..SO if your tracker says it came today start calling.. )

Hmmm - I was assured that my package would be delivered today. Can't call now, too late, but will see what I can find out tomorrow.

Your layer cake exchange sounds interesting.

I'M super excited as I will open them all tomorrow and start sorting.. I cant wait to see what fabrics you all have sent in..

So anyone interested in the potential layer cake swap? or should we keep it with charms??? also, what about NOT washing versus washing...IM not a pre-washer so I'm more partial to cut right off the bolt.... shoot me your opinions please.. As Id like to hear what you all think...

I Hate pre-washing. I like the idea of the layer cake swap, just a little confused about the details. Is this a swap that will go all year, with one color a month? Or are we swapping one time, but 12 different colors in our "cakes". I like the one swap a month, one color, I could put together some great scrappies that way. JMHO

I was thinking one color one a month.. say like January would be WOW (white on White) - so any ONE fabric of WOW cut into 12 squares.. and that's the set.... up to three sets at a time.. but your not committed to every month you can pick and chose the months you would like to participate in..

    so for example-
    December- GREEN
(so anything that has a MAJORITY of GREEN )
January- WOW - white on white(self explanatory)
    Feb- RED
((so anything that has a MAJORITY of RED)

The colors are not set in stone as to order but this is just for explanation purposes..

    Whatcha think??
