I think an all canning jar quilt swap would be fun...
Love the sun bonnet sue with 1930's idea...
I see a lot of farm, jungle, etc themes.... but never an ocean theme..... whales, dolphins, seahorse etc. I would like that...
boys themes..... Space stuff..... pirates......

See, that's the problem. I enjoy playing with you guys way tooooooooo much.

I am a sucker for just about anything. For example, I thought I didn't need chickens or farm animals. And then...you guys post blocks that I can't resisit...and tell jokes that make me roll on the floor laughing...and then I sign up...you know the rest.

I am into "period" these days: Traditional Civil War, 30s fabrics and blocks.

I wouldn't be able to resist a scrappy star; mason jar; funky house pets (like what the dogs, cats, fish, birds and hamsters are up to when no one is home) or color themed like red/white/blue, red/white, black/yellow, etc.

So you must have had fun doing my boom block then Fraew, it being a 30s fabric and all. Also, did you sign up for the civil war block swap? I think i saw your name there.

UFOs can be done girl, the swaps just help to get the UFO done. That is what motivates me to finish mine.

I am lucky that I get to play with both of my favorites for the boom...yours and Annaquilts (patriotic CW). Notice how I haven't done them yet? I had to research blocks for them...yes really I did. And yes to the CW 1-2-3. Can't resisit I told ya.

I have been really intriqued with Civil war and 1930's too. I know I would not be able to resist a Sun Bonnet Sue with 1930 fabrics. It has been on my wish list for as long as I quilt. Some how I always missed them. I love all the other ideas mentioned too and the boy swaps. I do know the timing of a swap is important for me. right now I want to be sure I have adequate time to complete my swap commitments. With Nov. and Dec. around the corner I could not have a swap like Sun Bonnet Sue ending till well into 2013. Wow!

Ok... I have just finished sorting all the blocks.
We had 12 swappers & a total of 222 blocks!!!!
It would be hard for me to pick a favorite block, they are all great.

Hope to get these in the mail by the end of the week.

Wow, that is a lot of blocks. I am sure we will all get different ones back. Oh thank you ms grace for being the block shuffler. It is better than the alternative those animals are leaving there.
