TPr9258 I love the idea for a table runner also. I might do the same thing. I decorate my house for every holiday except for my birthday.....well that's gonna change! thanks for sharing.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. We have had some rain here in Michigan so that means I don't feel guilty staying inside and sewing! yeah!

My daughter Kelly spent the last few nights in the hospital. She got an infection in her leg and they could not get it under control with meds so they did surgery on Thursday and kept her in the hospital to give her more meds by an IV. She is 10 weeks pregnant so they could not put her under. So they did an epidural for the surgery. But for the treatments she just gets a topical and it is very painful. She came home today and is resting (as much as she can with a 2 year old). I am sure she will be okay but keep her and the little one in your prayers. Thanks

when posting thank you's for the packages you receive...please ONLY post board names. Do not use first, last or cities unless it is their board name.

Thanks

Sorry about posting the names of senders. I was in a bind. Some envelopes did not have board name on the outside and I did not want to open the packages until my birthday. Please, everyone include your board name on the outside. I may be guilty too of not doing this too but I try to remember to include the "WMUTeach" in my return address.

Question: lv2sew2011 and michellesews I mailed your B-candy on 8/28 & my post office receipt said you would rec'v them by 8/31.

Did I miss seeing your receiving your pkgs or did they not arrive? Please let me know. I sure hope they got to you.

I have received candies from 29 ladies! That is the correct count, isn't it? I'm very happy with all my lovely packages. This made my birthday special for me...without it, it would not have been. We finally did get the diagnosis for my husband and it is Motor Neuron Disease. We are trying to make the most of each day as it comes. He has the luxury of living in ignorance but as a retired nurse of 35 years, I don't have that luxury.
