I really like both of those quilts that you posted. Nice to have some easy patterns to just whip up!

Phyllis, so sorry to hear you have been sick. Hope you are feeling stronger now.
My charity group has two "go to" patterns for very fast baby blankets that still look good. One is a super sized 9-patch (you can actually get 3 different ones out of a yard each of 3 fabrics), and a "Quick Strippie" quilt pattern. Links below:
http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/details.html?idx=184 (Couldn't be easier!)
http://www.maryquilts.com/quick-strippie/ I've made a ton of these! Looks best with a novelty or large print for the large strips.

Thanks WMUTeach....always a teacher
QUOTE=WMUTeach;7660227]Barbara, when I want to save a link, website, article or pattern I open it and in the upper right hand corner I click on the star icon. Now it may be a little different for your computer depending on PC or Dell and year of your software. Periodically I will move saved "bookmarked" items into quilting, recipes and child development(work) "folders".
I have not figured out how to bookmark through the QB directly.[/QUOTE]

So call me crazy but I saw a 1" postage stamp quilt (1 1/2" square) and fell in love with it. The lady making it was doing it all by hand!!! So I thinking I might be saving me some of my scraps and making me one of those.....she says she takes it in the car with her while her husband drives. I have been looking for something like that.....hmmmmm.

barbarakibler, you are a lucky lady! I have a husband that hates to drive so I am the driver 90% of the time. No time to sew When I get into that car it's a stop for gas, potty and go....want to get there you know? I'm going to have a long drive to Florida for sure. Have to pack those snacks too, he's a muncher.
