I haven't been on here much because I have been swamped with gardening! It takes a long time to weed, prep and plant a 40x60 foot veggie garden!
I also have to weed the rest of my garden (herbs and perrenials), and the opening of the pond is a lot of work! Of course, I always have my dog out with me when I am in the backyard. She's not allowed in the pond anymore as she ate one of my koi last summer - eek!
But here's a great pic of her demonstrating that yes, she does know the rules!!!!

My brand new machine (6-months old) is in the shop getting a tune up, and getting the automatic threader fixed. It didn't really bother me, but it's brand new, and still under warranty. I already have over 1.5 million stitches on it LOL
I am definitely up for the swap, haven't had time to make one "special" for this swap, but I have 5 extras that I've already made and will be using one of those.
I'll be PMing Rhonda right now to let her know to add me to the list.
Nice to see all the works in progress ...
Hope everyone is doing well.

MarionsQuilts, I envy your veggie garden and your pond. Pics look good and she is minding her manners. Love all your quilts but am partial to the first one (Hunter's Star). Always wanted to make one but was too timid to try. Maybe one day.
Thanks ube quilting. Can't wait to start quilting again.

I am so happy to see you, Marion. Love watching your pond grow and mature. I remember when you first installed it.
All your quilts are amazing and being a bird watcher, you know those birds are singing for me.

Here is some more progress on my WHing. It went in a direction I wasn't expecting and it makes me smile so I hope you do too.
Funkier than shabby chic. Thumbs up or down on the circles, I can change them out to be more neutral if this is too over the top.

Rumbols, it's very easy if you do it with paper piecing!

Yes, it was definitely a lot of work, but the payoff is so wonderful! To just sit in my backyard and listen to the waterfall is so peaceful. And with the fence around it, the "wildlife" has become used to the fact that my dog can't go there, and they all come around for a drink!
