Not a silly question, Bullock2us. I actually had to go look it up myself. I believe it means "disappearing 9 patch" block.

NZ....that embellishment on watering can looks awesome. Beautiful finishing touch! If I don't get one in my batch will you make one for me? Lol!!! Love it..

D9P is, indeed, disappearing 9-patch....not a stupid question. I have to look up acrynoms all the time until I get my quilt lingo down...
