Thanks, yes the sunflower was paper-pieced. I really like pp, but I waste so much fabric. I guess I just need to keep practicing!

They took a lot longer than originally planned, hence only sending in two sets!

That's okay Jayne, send in a little, or a lot, you'll still get a great start on a quilt. Or plan out an adorable wall hanging or table topper. Your blocks will look great added into our quilts.

We're almost there ladies. I can't wait to swap out and get started on the next summertime quilt. I have shifted my blocks around a little from the first summertime swap blocks. The first quilt is definitely heading toward the beach. The second is going to be theme'd around the outdoors and gardening. And, all the 4th of July blocks are heading to a Patriot quilt. 3 different quilts for the price of one. lol I'm working on getting my Summertime 1 quilt top finished and ready to go to the quilter. And, then, I will concentrate on Summertim e 2 quilt top. Although, I have found some great blocks that I am working on here and there to add to this quilt. It is so much fun planning these out along the way, only to find out, they took on a life of there own.

Here are my five blocks. You’ve seen some of them before. I made two blocks 12 1/2, two 9 1/2 and one 6 1/2. I made an extra of the small block. The cars in the blocks are woodies. These are special to my so cal town and are associated with surfers. We have a big woody show every year. Most of these block patterns came from or were inspired by Tula Pinks 100 city blocks. Can you tell I like lots of color? I hope you like them.

i think I’m going to put two row by row blocks I got from last year. They have a surfer and animals from the wild animal park and will go well with the theme.

Love the sunbonnet sam and the mermaid. How cute! But there are so many I also like, LOL! I am getting so excited to see them in person.
